John Terry Out as England captain

Fabio Capello has decided to sack John Terry as England captain after allegations about his private life.

The move comes after Terry’s alleged extra-marital affair with an England team-mate’s former partner was made public, and after the Daily Mail revealed that his personal box at Wembley is being ‘touted out’. In a statement Capello said that Terry had been stripped of the England captaincy ‘in the best interest of the team’.

The woman at the centre of the affair allegations, Vanessa Perroncel, 33, looked stunned and mouthed ‘Oh my God’ when she heard the news.
