Milton Bradley goes, Carlos Silva enters

Seattle_MarinersThe Chicago Cubs traded its outfielder Milton Bradley to the Seattle Mariners for pitcher Carlos Silva and a $6 million cash. The Milton Bradley – Carlos Silva trading was approved by Major League Baseball although there was money involved.

Milton Bradley batted .257 with 12 homers and 40 RBIs for the Cubs in 2009. On Sept. 20, Bradley was suspended for the final 15 games of the season because of detrimental conduct.

Carlos Silva, is 60-64 with two saves and a 4.72 ERA in 295 Major League appearances with Philadelphia (2002-03), Minnesota (’04-07) and Seattle (’08-09).
