Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg in the hospital

The 76-year-old associate justice, Ruth Bader Ginsburg, was brought to the Washington Hospital Center at about 7:45 p.m.

The Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg felt ill her in chambers earlier this evening after receiving an “iron sucrose infusion” to treat an iron deficiency.

Ginsburg, who was appointed to the Supreme Court by President Clinton in 1993, had surgery for pancreatic cancer back in February. She has been suffering an iron deficiency since July.
