Mackenzie Phillips family secret revealed on Oprah show. Mackenzie Phillips revealed in a taped interview with Oprah Winfrey that she had sex with her father.

Phillips says in her new book, High on Arrival, that she confronted her father John Phillips who died in March 2001, about their past, saying, “We have to talk about when you raped me.” John replied, according to his daughter, “You mean when we made love?”

John Phillips is a famous rocker from The Mamas and The Papas.
