Hill Air Force Base – Air Show 2009

The 2009 Air Show at Hill Air Force Base is one of the most-watched air shows in the country. It attracts hundreds of thousands of visitors each year. The gates open at 8 a.m. Saturday and Sunday. Officials say there will be continuous flying performances from 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. each day.

Today at the Air Show Schedule

10 a.m. Pre-show with remote-control aircraft

11 a.m. Opening ceremony with Wings of Blue jump team parachuting in with the American flag.

Performances begin.

Lineup and times are subject to change due to weather and other unforeseen changes.

* Lee Lauderback P-51 Mustang demonstration

* Greg Poe Fagen MX-2

* Red Eagle Air Sports Talon Eagle biplanes

* Dan Buchanan Flying Colors hang glider

* Sean Tucker Team Oracle Challenger

* Closing act: U.S. Air Force Air Demonstration Squadron “Thunderbirds”

* 5:30 p.m. show ends.

* 6 p.m. Tops in Blue performance on west side of Hangar 1 (Saturday only).

There will also be several fly-bys throughout the show from World War II-era planes. On Saturday only, there will be a B-2 and F-22 fly-by.
