Fiesta del sol at Solana beach

This weekend on Saturday, June 6 and Sunday, June 7, 2009 Del Mar’s neighbor, Solana Beach, will be holding the 30th annual Fiesta del Sol. The two-day free music festival will feature a band lineup that plays everything from jazz and rock to reggae. Steel Rod will perform Saturday with a repertoire of more than 300 songs and bring something new to Fiesta del Sol.

There will be arts and crafts booths, children’s games and a beer and wine garden.

Fiesta del Sol is expected to attract more than 50,000 people. Remember, the event is for free.
