Elfego Baca Shootout 2009
Every golfer wants to try the Elfego Baca Shootout. Elfego Baca Shootout is an extremely unique golf as the only tee box is atop the Socorro Peak — 2,550 feet above the hole.
The shootout 2009 will be held Saturday, during the final day of the Socorro Open.
The golfers have to endure the scorching sun, swirling winds and rough terrain as they hit the ball toward the hole 3 miles away.
